This appears to be a project for a design class. It should prove fun at least. If you are being graded on originality you should know that a hub center steering, hub motor driven board has previously been built. Several styles of intuitive release bindings have been designed, built and tested by the same guy that designed the motocrossboard. They have actually been featured on TV, Modern Marvels in the US and Daily Planet in Canada. The motocrossboard and the intuitive release bindings are patent pending.
